Accompanied again by Geoffrey Parsons, Victoria de los Angeles presented a programme of songs entitled Spanish Song from the Age of Goya to the 20th Century. The later pieces included compositions by Granados (Four Tonadillas), Rodrigo (Four Sephardic Songs) and Montsalvatge (his Five Negro Songs). The usual very high quality. Victoria bathed in the glow of audience worship.
