Just Courtney Pine with Zoe Rahman on piano. Pine played bass clarinet only for this gig. Lots of familiar standards (though Blue Moon was the only one I could put a title to). I've always liked the bass clarinet (ever since Eric Dolphy!) and the show was never less than interesting with the honking, the lyricism, sudden eruptions, the dynamics, but (dare I say it) a slight ennui which I experience with solo and duo performances. Having said that, Rahman's playing was terrific.
