Third on the bill that night was a band I used to follow. Apocalypse.
Weller was a bit of a mentor for them, which is how they got the slot!

Sadly, The Jam announced they were to split!. This was the last London concert they played. They went out with a bang and although the atmosphere was electric, there was a heavy undercurrent!
