Contemporary Music Network Tour : Singcircle, Queen Elizabeth Hall, London (GB) - 21 oct. 1987

Singcircle sang Stimmung by Karlheinz Stockhausen, composed in 1968 and largely inspired by ancient Mexico. The piece uses overtone melodies and there is substantial improvisation. It sounded somewhat strange, ethereal, really worthwhile listening to. Singcircle were: Suzanne Flowers soprano, Sarah Leonard soprano, Nancy Long mezzo soprano, Angus Smith tenor, Gregory Rose baritone (and director), Martin Elliot bass.
