Paco Pena Flamenco Dance Company, Sadler's Wells, London (GB) - 27 juin 2015

Three guitars, Paco Peña with Paco Arriaga and Rafael Montilla, and one percussion (Nacho Lopez), accompanying two singers (Jose Angel Carmona & Immaculada Rivero, with Vimala Rowe guesting) and three dancers (Carmen 'La Talegona' Rivas, Charo Espino & Angel Muñoz). The programme was called Flamencura. A show of technical quality, aesthetically pleasing. The singing and dancing were tremendous and the guitar playing of the usual very high standard. The company performed these pieces: Verdial, Rondena, Solea, Tangos de Malaga, Petenera, Martinete, Alegrias, Granaina, Solea, Fandangos. Reviewed by Sanjoy Roy in The Guardian of 24 June 2015.
