This was a lecture-recital on guitars and guitar music in the 1800s. Very interesting about different types of guitar and famous guitar-makers – we saw and heard 12-string and 9-string guitars – much information was unfortunately lost simply because it was difficult to hear what Mattos was saying. The actual music was impressively played, pieces by Giuliani, Sor, Villa-Lobos and one other composer.
