This Christmas Concert consisted of Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, a selection of carols through the centuries (including by Humperdinck and Brahms), 20th Century Carols (eg by Peter Warlock and John Taverner) and Finnish Christmas Songs (a couple by Sibelius). Directed by Patricia Hooper, the singers were Rosemary Naylor, Sonya Gale, Gaye Wiggins, Letty Porter, Rachel Adams and Heather Lloyd. Instrumentalists were Keziah Thomas harp and Angela Carter keyboard.
