Steve Brayne vcl/slide guitar/harmonica, Richard Martin soprano/alto/tenor/baritone saxes/vocal, Bruce Knapp guitar/vocal, Richard Jones keyboard/accordion/vocal, Joe Read bass guitar/vocal and Geoff Nicholls drums. They played music from the southern US, mainly old-style R&B, blues, dabs of zydeco, soul, New Orleans rhythm, eg Little Walter’s My Babe, Louis Jordan’s Blue Light Boogie, Wilson Pickett’s 634-5789, Robert Johnson’s Walkin’ Blues. Enjoyable if not very original session. The only clinker was a poor rendering of Sporting Life.
