An event for which I applied for tickets, but never believed I would get them. I was lucky enough to get a pair (of tickets) and took my wife to Hyde Park where we enjoyed over 12 hours of top-notch rock music to bring attention to the G8 summit happening at that time. Highlights included Elton John, Annie Lennox, Sting recreating his 1985 Live Aid set, Robbie Williams, The Who, Paul McCartney and, of course, the final reunion of the classic lineup of PINK FLOYD, with Roger Waters joining David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason for the last time. Unbelievably emotional, unforgettable and I'm glad I was there. x
