John Grant, Barbican Hall, London (GB) - 24 sept. 2023

This was billed as John Grant and Richard Hawley . I would have loved to have heard Mr Hawley's voice taking on some of the Patsy Cline songs . However Mr Grant was the obvious driving force behind the project who sang 100 % , Richard Hawley simply played (albeit well) a vast array of guitars, grants vocals grew on me during the concert and he sang well and the band were excellent .
Lauren Housley a very good support , good voice and a couple of excellent songs . Worth further investigation .
Main disappointment is that i would have not bought the ticket if I had known the format of the concert . It would have saved money and time .
Great venue and audience were good , no one felt the need to discuss their life history during the concert .
