A Kinks tribute band, The Konks are Jerry Thunders vocal/rhythm guitar, Scott Pleasant lead guitar/vocal, Paul Dandy bass guitar, Fred Watts drums. Of course they played numbers from the Ray Davies canon, eg Tired of Waiting for You, Dedicated Follower of Fashion, You Really Got Me, Lola, Waterloo Sunset, but also a mix of other songs from the period like The Who's I Can't Explain and a couple from Velvet Underground/Lou Reed. Nostalgia but a real pleasure, generally well played and a reminder of good music from yesteryear.
