Mötley Crüe, NEC Arena, Birmingham (GB) - 3 nov. 1989

Best gig of my life. Went up to the NEC with a mate but no tickets, met two lads selling tickets from a couple of friends who couldn’t make it. Got the tickets for face value and ended up RIGHT at the front!! And got Nikki’s plectrum when he threw it in to the crowd. Well, to be honest, my mate got it but gave it to me as he wasn’t really a Crue fan!! He was a Psychobilly in to The Guana bats and The Cramps and just came up to see what I kept banging on about!! If you were there, you might remember a short stocky lad with a bleached blond Mohawk wearing denim dungarees pogoing in the mosh pit, that was him. I was further forward, right up against the barrier at the front of the stage having the time of my life!!
