Metallica/Guns N Roses Stadium Tour : Metallica, The Kingdome, Seattle (US) - 6 oct. 1992

Motorhead opened, very killer to see Lemmy. We were first 100 or so in so got wrist tickets to access the front pit area about 10 rows back from stage we watched from. Biggest mosh pit of my life during Motorhead and Metallica. Metallica was of course killer even with Hetfield's guitar tech playing for him due to burn injuries. Guns N Roses (Axl) refused to just share a joint stage so after Metallica we waited about 2 hours while their stage was torn down and Guns stage set up. Then Axl kept talking shit about how Kurt Cobain was too cool with Guns N Roses, which eventually had Nirvana's home crowd of Seattle chanting "FUCK YOU AXL! FUCK YOU AXL!" till he shut up. Guns was awesome, Axl was a diva. He must have had about 10 outfit changes, the catchers chest plate with the kilt, then run backstage and come out in the converse, spandex, and Sgt. Pepper's jacket.... We got out of there about 3 am and had to be home for school the next day. Coach Bakamus was pissed at us as we were both too wiped out to participate in our PE class flag football superbowl that day, but eventually lightened up and told us about seeing Van Halen on their first tour in the 70's in his college years. My voice was gone for a day after and my ears rang for 3 days.
