Louis Philippe & The Night Mail, The Water Rats , London (GB) - Jul 17, 2025

A concert mainly focused on the last two albums with The Night Mail , but also supplemented by a good spread of material from Louise earlier albums . Relaxed singer songwriter in the vein of Prefab Sprout , The Beach Boys and Chris Rainbow . His backing band were excellent and Dave Gregory (of XTC fame ) also backed him with some superb guitar playing . The encore included a track from his new album called a Song For Paddy which was a highlight .Set list is attached .
Stuart Moxham was good , but not a good as I had expected on the basis of his two albums with Louis .
