World's Greatest Jazz Band, 100 Club, London (GB) - October 1974

Probable personnel: Yank Lawson & Billy Butterfield trumpets, Sonny Russo & Benny Morton trombones, Bob Wilber & Bud Freeman reeds, Dick Wellstood piano, Bob Haggart double bass, Gus Johnson drums, Maxine Sullivan vocal. The band was co-led by Lawson and Haggart. Dixieland-cum-mainstream style. Some of these players were very good individually but I've never found the genre particularly attractive.
