German Cornejo, Peacock Theatre, Aldwych, London (GB) - Mar 16, 2016

This tango show, called Immortal Tango, was created by German Cornejo. There were fourteen dancers (Cornejo, Gisela Galeassi et al), two singers, piano/keyboards, double bass, bandoneon/guitar, drums, violin. They performed tango pieces and tangified popular songs from musicals and films. The dancing was terrific and the playing, as always, wonderful. My only caveat was the repertoire.
