Strathclyde Union, Glasgow GB

October 30, 1976

A day to remember. Mott had lost 'the Hoople' when Ian Hunter left. Lone Star were being heavily punted by Alan Freeman and Bob Harris on Radio 1. Me and my mate Sinky were playing pool in the union when we were asked if we would help with the gear. I always remember getting Morgan Fisher's grand piano into the lift. We got them set up, the went to see Thin Lizzy at the Apollo and back in time to se the show. Stuff back in the trucks and home for 3.30am, with £5 for our trouble. Happy days!
