Stunning Voice . this generations Roberta Flack . The only problem was that much of the material from the new album sounded more rock oriented than soulful/jazz . The encore of "I am What I Am " was sublime and if all the concert was in this vein it would have been a five star review. She sang with a soul / jazz sensibility and you felt you were in the presence of a major star .
The silver dish on her head was an improvement of the gimp suit she wore at the Barbican last time I saw her .
